Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend security patrols of federal facilities in Albuquerque metropolitan area
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents 24/7
- Enforce federal access control protocols for personnel and visitors
- Complete comprehensive incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency responses
- Conduct regular security equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Participate in quarterly emergency preparedness drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 10am-6pm)
- Proficient in CCTV systems and access control software
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and physical fitness test
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of federal security regulations (FIPS, NISPOM)
