Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT solutions in accordance with federal standards and VA directives.
- Analyze system requirements and recommend technical improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff and IT developers, to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure system reliability and security.
- Maintain documentation for all system architectures, configurations, and processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical problems in a 24/7 environment.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA and VA cybersecurity policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management.
- Familiarity with federal IT frameworks, such as FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable background investigation (e.g., Secret clearance).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL.
