Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefits claims with precision and adherence to federal regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person during weekend shifts
- Maintain accurate documentation using VA-specific systems (VBA, VISTA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex veteran inquiries
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data security protocols
- Support outreach initiatives for underserved veteran populations
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Fri-Sun) with occasional holidays
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of federal benefits programs preferred
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license may be required
