Responsibilities
- Process and verify veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy during weekend shifts
- Maintain strict adherence to federal regulations (VA Handbook 5007) and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate cross-agency documentation with Social Security Administration and DoD
- Respond to urgent veteran inquiries via secure communication channels
- Generate weekly compliance reports for weekend operations
- Support weekend system backups and data integrity protocols
- Train on VA-specific software (VBMS, VBA) and security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal/state/local government experience
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 6am-2pm)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA systems
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Knowledge of veterans' benefits programs (GI Bill, VHA)
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
