Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy using federal guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone/in-person for weekend inquiries
- Maintain confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and federal regulations
- Coordinate weekend staffing schedules across multiple departments
- Conduct quality assurance audits of weekend shift documentation
- Train new staff on weekend protocols and federal compliance standards
- Generate weekly operational reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (mandatory for federal employment)
- Associate's degree or 2 years federal/government experience
- Valid state driver's license (for occasional off-site duties)
- Proficiency in VA systems (VISTA, VBMS) or willingness to train
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with documentation standards
- Weekend shift availability (Sat-Sun, 6am-6pm)
