Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit inquiries and claims processing during weekend shifts via secure federal systems
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and VA policies in all documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using encrypted communication platforms
- Maintain accurate records in federal databases while adhering to HIPAA and privacy standards
- Conduct virtual consultations with veterans regarding benefits and services
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for urgent case resolutions
- Support weekend system maintenance and data integrity checks
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal/government experience or equivalent GS-7 level
- Proficiency with VA systems (e.g., VBA, VISTA) and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 6am-6pm)
- Strong knowledge of veteran benefits programs and federal compliance
- Clearable background investigation and security clearance eligibility
- Excellent remote communication and documentation skills
- VA experience or military veteran status preferred
