Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently at the post office facility
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Handle customer inquiries regarding delivery status and postal services
- Perform route adjustments during peak seasons or staff shortages
- Ensure all mail is delivered promptly and in excellent condition
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry mail bags for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand/walk for 6+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
