Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned city routes using efficient walking and driving methods
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS policies
- Collect mail from collection boxes and business drop-off points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and security procedures for mail handling
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry mail for extended periods
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical assessment
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required
