Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery standards
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points and post offices
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain route documentation
- Collect mail from street boxes and post office receptacles
- Report maintenance issues for delivery equipment and vehicles
- Adhere to USPS policies and safety regulations
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Pass USPS carrier examination
