Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret veteran healthcare datasets to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure all data handling complies with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21st Century Cures Act)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for veteran programs
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visualizations and written reports
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control protocols
- Support compliance audits with comprehensive documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience analyzing federal or healthcare datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and R for data manipulation
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS)
- Knowledge of federal data governance frameworks (FIPS, NIST)
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Strong written communication skills for policy briefings
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
