Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations for federal stakeholders using Tableau
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and federal data security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control processes
- Support grant reporting and compliance documentation
- Participate in quarterly data strategy meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 2+ years of professional data analysis experience
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical language (Python/R)
- Familiarity with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2)
- Experience with healthcare datasets preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position
