Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap for Nexus, specifically aligning our infrastructure and capabilities with the projected trends and requirements of 2026.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Identify, evaluate, and prototype emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, Quantum) to determine their viability for future product development.
- Architecture Leadership: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable system architectures that support long-term business growth and technical evolution.
- R&D Oversight: Manage research initiatives to ensure the company remains ahead of industry standards and competitor capabilities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate complex technical visions to non-technical stakeholders and translate business goals into actionable technical strategies.
- Team Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering and architecture teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and anticipate technological shifts that impact business models.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Emerging Tech: Strong understanding and interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and future tech trends.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
