Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions (AR interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant writing and venture partnerships
- Mentor junior strategists in future-casting methodologies
- Publish annual 'Tech Horizons' report industry-wide
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuro-interfaces, or climate tech
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and strategic modeling tools
- Clearances for federal tech initiatives preferred
