Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough hardware/software systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market saturation
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through federal grants and corporate partnerships
- Author white papers on ethical AI deployment and human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of scaling from R&D to commercialized tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing DoD/EU Horizon grants for futuristic initiatives
- Portfolio of patents or deployed systems solving 2025+ challenges
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
