Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap for emerging domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, decentralized AI)
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate disruptive concepts through rapid experimentation cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers to accelerate innovation
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for ethical implementation of next-gen technologies
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Drive adoption of anticipatory design methodologies across product development teams
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and geopolitical implications for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven experience in future-tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or equivalent technical field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with demonstrated ability to translate foresight into executable roadmaps
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Strong understanding of ethical frameworks for technological development and deployment
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis, etc.)
