Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ adoption across quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT and Stanford research partners
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and quantum security protocols
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Pioneer regulatory sandboxes for emerging technologies with federal policymakers
- Scale pilot programs from lab to enterprise deployment in 12-month cycles
- Mentor PhD researchers in translating theoretical breakthroughs into market-ready solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ exits or IPOs)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations in relevant fields
- Security clearance for federal technology initiatives preferred
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience building ethical AI frameworks aligned with EU AI Act and NIST standards
