- Architect proof-of-concept systems for futuristic applications
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech innovation with 2026 business objectives
- Present strategic tech forecasts to stakeholders and investors
- Manage a team of futurist researchers and prototype engineers
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching at least 3 disruptive tech projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping
- Experience scaling innovation teams in high-growth environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
