Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals
- Partner with NASA, IBM, and MIT on 2026 quantum milestones
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong Python/C++ programming and Linux systems knowledge
- Experience leading technical teams of 8+ researchers
