- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the executive board and investors
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for core innovations
- Mentor junior researchers while fostering a culture of ethical innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or advanced product development
- Proven track record in emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, or climate tech)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Experience managing distributed teams across global innovation centers
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market timing
- Certifications in technology forecasting or innovation management preferred
