Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technical insights into actionable product strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize innovation initiatives based on feasibility and market impact
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory developments affecting future tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor groups
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, quantum applications)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy preferred
