Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in controlled environments
- Present technology strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption impact and ROI for future-focused initiatives
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory shifts affecting our 2026 strategic direction
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven experience in emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three of these areas: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, neurotech interfaces, or decentralized systems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or scaling initiatives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
