Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Develop strategic 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive innovations
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs
- Manage technology prototyping and pilot program execution
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario planning skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, labs, startups)
- Proficiency in technology assessment frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Toffler's Future Shock)
- Fluency in strategic planning tools and visualization platforms
