Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 3-5 year strategic relevance
- Develop and execute technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market demands
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to identify innovation gaps and first-mover opportunities
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into development pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation incubation programs and technology proof-of-concept initiatives
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and measure ROI on innovation investments
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities using advanced analytics tools
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile development environments
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech innovation journals
