Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI) to identify market opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological adoption with business objectives and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists in prototype development and validation
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and government innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment in key markets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and societal impact of disruptive technologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market deployment ($50M+ projects)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
