Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, and carbon capture tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Strategize implementation frameworks for sustainable tech adoption across industries
- Partner with VPs of Engineering to align R&D priorities with future market demands
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members through data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech development
- Proven track record in launching future-focused initiatives (2019-2025)
- Expertise in at least 3 of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech, or AI ethics
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Strong network with tech innovation hubs and research institutions
