Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to prioritize R&D investments in future-focused initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation lab prototyping next-generation solutions
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts impacting future technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scanning methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management experience across global organizations
