Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging tech domains
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of disruptive technologies
- Architect prototype systems for next-gen human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in R&D leadership with demonstrated tech innovation impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals or conferences
- Proficiency in futures analysis frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($500K+ projects)
- Portfolio of at least three commercialized tech innovations
