Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology strategy aligning with global market trends and regulatory shifts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Present strategic frameworks to Fortune 500 clients and government stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and data scientists
- Monitor geopolitical and environmental factors influencing tech adoption timelines
- Develop patent portfolios protecting breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in executive leadership roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ case studies required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two domains: AI ethics, sustainable energy tech, or quantum computing
- Exceptional command of scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience securing $10M+ in government or corporate innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (HBR, MIT Tech Review)
