Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture teams
- Analyze emerging tech vectors (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations in climate tech and human augmentation
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record commercializing emerging tech (3+ case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech convergence
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Published white papers on technological singularity implications
- Experience with scenario planning for exponential technology curves
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global collaboration
