Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints for prototyping next-gen consumer interfaces
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and venture labs
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to the Innovation Board with ROI projections
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and technical architects
- Ensure all initiatives align with UN SDGs and ethical AI frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight methodology training
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Strategic Innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology commercialization success stories
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes (FDA, FCC, international IP frameworks)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
