Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) and assess market viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling future-facing solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI implementation and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and C-suite executives
- Drive R&D budget allocation for future technology incubation projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and translating them to commercial value
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Strong executive presence and board-level communication skills
- Published thought leadership in future technology or innovation management
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (preferred)
