Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategies aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and implementing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruption
- Establish innovation frameworks for ethical tech development and deployment
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record in developing 3-5 year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
