Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum computing, AI, and biotech integration strategies
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through grant writing and venture partnerships
- Establish industry-first standards for ethical AI deployment and digital sovereignty
- Drive M&A activities for emerging technology startups with <$50M valuations
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor R&D teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ at executive level
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar Tier-1 journals (2020-2023)
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, US CHIPS Act, Global Digital Governance)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($10M+ portfolio)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Go preferred)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar foresight methodology accreditation
