Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI ethics frameworks, quantum applications, IoT security)
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech landscapes and disruptor threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio for R&D initiatives in sustainable tech and human-AI collaboration
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Champion agile methodologies in long-term technology planning cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling AI/quantum/IoT solutions from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Harvard Business Review (2019-2023)
- Experience with federal grant applications for DARPA/NSF tech initiatives
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Aha!, Lucidchart, Tableau)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystem
