Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 5-10 year industry transformations
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead executive workshops on strategic adaptation to megatrends like climate resilience and decentralized systems
- Produce trend reports and white papers that translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of innovation scouts and academic researchers
- Advocate for ethical futures design in client organizations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic consulting or corporate innovation with futures-focused deliverables
- Deep expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven ability to communicate complex futures concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or client case studies
- Strong network in tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, academic institutions, R&D labs)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, SenseMaker)
