Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for quantum computing integration and AI ethics frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions for climate resilience and neurotech
- Produce executive-level trend briefings and disruption risk assessments for board stakeholders
- Architect patent-pending innovation ecosystems leveraging synthetic biology and nanotechnology convergence
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into scalable product roadmaps
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in foresight consulting, R&D strategy, or emerging technology analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, biotech convergence, or AI governance
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation pipelines
- Mastery of scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futures to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic foresight projects with measurable impact
