Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents published in industry-leading journals
- Design and execute innovation sprints with C-suite teams to prototype future business models
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Present strategic recommendations at executive summits and board-level meetings
- Mentor junior strategists while developing proprietary foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research at Fortune 500 or top-tier consulting firms
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies that generated measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executive-ready insights
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or strategic planning (peer-reviewed articles, books)
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Foresight Platform) and data visualization frameworks
- Global perspective with understanding of geopolitical and cultural implications on future trends
