Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technological convergence and societal transformation through 2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to future-proof business models and competitive strategies
- Curate and analyze global trend data from 50+ sources including patents, academic research, and cultural indicators
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry summits
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent with 7+ years applied experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in AI ethics, biotech governance, or quantum computing applications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Analysis, etc.)
- Track record of influencing product strategy through future-focused insights
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
