Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological convergence points and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech integration (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Advocate for ethical guardrails in autonomous systems and human augmentation technologies
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Partner with policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary 'Foresight Methodology' framework
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully implemented future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into stakeholder-aligned strategies
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging tech domains
