Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities through proprietary horizon-scanning methodologies
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market evolution to executive stakeholders
- Lead innovation workshops using speculative design and scenario planning frameworks
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content establishing our foresight authority
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof products and services
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist practitioners and academic collaborators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes (portfolio required)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published author in futures/innovation publications or journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
