- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech paradigms
- Advise C-suite on investment priorities in next-generation technologies
- Build strategic partnerships with academic research labs and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts on transformative technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend mapping
