Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and cultural trends to map 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Design and lead strategic foresight initiatives including scenario planning, trend forecasting, and risk modeling
- Develop human-centered frameworks for exponential technology adoption (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Partner with R&D to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps with clear KPIs
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Create executive-ready foresight reports with actionable recommendations
- Build and mentor a network of futurists and innovation catalysts across industries
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with demonstrable impact
- Expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex concepts
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or strategic frameworks
- Certification in futures research or innovation management preferred
