Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework for emerging technology and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Partner with R&D to integrate exponential technologies into core business operations
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and scenario planning documents for stakeholders
- Establish global networks with futurists, academia, and policy influencers
- Quantify ROI of innovation initiatives using predictive modeling and market analysis
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across 15+ divisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFMP from APF preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Mastery of scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives across global enterprises
