Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product roadmaps and business models
- Produce annual Future State reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Identify and nurture partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic signals to anticipate systemic risks and opportunities
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database using advanced analytics tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to communicate complex futures
- Experience with foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
