Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market positioning
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to align innovation roadmaps with future scenarios
- Present executive-level briefings on disruptive threats and opportunities
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for cross-functional leadership
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and strategic implications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused planning
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into corporate strategy
- Deep expertise in technological convergence and exponential change patterns
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning tools
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused work or strategic frameworks
