Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology adoption roadmaps across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Architect innovation frameworks for exponential growth scenarios
- Present strategic technology briefings to board members and VC partners
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental projects
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and national research institutions
- Author annual 'Future Tech' whitepapers positioning Innovatech as industry thought leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep familiarity with exponential technology curves and adoption models
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex technology ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for advanced research initiatives
