Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (AI quantum computing, biotech convergence) with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating future-focused technologies into core business operations
- Partner with product teams to incubate next-gen solutions aligned with 5-year market forecasts
- Deliver executive briefings on technological disruption risks and opportunities
- Establish innovation governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state technology ecosystems
- Produce annual technology impact assessments and trend reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., AC/FFR)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
- Experience leading strategic initiatives in regulated industries (healthcare/finance)
- MBA or Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent
