Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030 horizon) across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and neurotech
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption patterns
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and patent novel methodologies for technological anticipation
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and global research labs
- Quantify market disruption potential using proprietary predictive modeling tools
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and venture partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on product roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or similar tier-1 publications
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI alignment
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (provide case studies of successful predictions)
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology transformation
- Security clearance or ability to obtain for classified innovation projects
