Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end operational strategy for venue management, security logistics, and transportation networks across the 16 host cities.
- Vendor Management: Oversee and optimize relationships with international vendors, ensuring alignment with the 2026 legacy and sustainability goals.
- Crisis Management: Develop and implement robust contingency plans for potential disruptions, including weather events, security threats, and infrastructure challenges.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between government bodies, local municipalities, and international governing bodies to ensure compliance and seamless integration.
- Resource Allocation: Direct cross-functional teams in optimizing workforce deployment, technology integration, and budget utilization in real-time.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in large-scale event management, sports operations, or complex logistics within the Fortune 500 or global organizations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Sports Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Project Management: PMP or similar advanced certification is highly required.
- Global Perspective: Demonstrated experience working in multicultural environments and managing international projects.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performance teams through high-pressure phases.
- Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is a significant plus.
