Legacy Sports Group is seeking a visionary Senior Project Manager to lead critical operational initiatives for the historic 2026 FIFA World Cup. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of mega-event logistics across the United States, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of spectators.
As part of the core operations team, you will bridge the gap between strategic planning and on-the-ground execution. You will manage complex stakeholder relationships, coordinate with international federations, and drive the delivery of infrastructure projects that will define this generation of sports.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of project plans, ensuring alignment with the 2026 World Cup operational vision and timeline.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, government bodies, and international partners to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Logistics & Operations: Oversee the planning of venue operations, transportation systems, and crowd management strategies for match-day environments.
- Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, track financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure zero disruptions during the tournament.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operational activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations governing international sporting events.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, specifically within large-scale events, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is required.
- Global Perspective: Proven experience working with international teams and navigating cross-cultural communication challenges.
- Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-year projects with high visibility and complex dependencies.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of project management software (MS Project, Asana, Jira) and data analytics tools.
